Biography

My research interests, broadly speaking, include the archaeology of the ancient world to include the Ancient Mediterranean and Near East. I have a particular interest in archaeology of the frontiers of the Roman Empire, the cultural and economic interactions between the East and West in Antiquity, food production and consumption, the archaeology of Religion and Ritual, and religion in the Roman world.
