Biography
Madison Fogle is a second year PhD student studying Eastern Christianity in the sixth and seventh centuries CE. Madison's research focuses on Christian apocalyptic literature and eschatology, specifically the power structures that are shown in and created by these works and beliefs. She is particularly interested in concepts of gender, sexuality, and social status.
Madison received her B.A. in History and B.A. in Humanities (Religious Studies) at the University of Louisville in 2023. She is currently working as a teaching assistant in UTK's Department of History. She formerly worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Collections Department at the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture.
