Undergraduate Studies at Marco

Medieval and Renaissance Studies (MRST) at UT examines the rich period from 200-1700 CE from the perspectives of many disciplines: history, literature, languages, art history, religious studies, music, archaeology, political science, and philosophy. Our excellent faculty make it possible to offer many concentrations within the program.

Our offerings include:

  • Course offerings from approximately 40 faculty members across eight affiliated departments
  • Opportunities to participate in and volunteer for Marco events
  • Access to the Marco Riggsby Library and Reading Room
  • MARCUS (Medieval and Renaissance Club for Undergraduate Students)
  • A lounge available to MRST students
