Marco Summer Latin Program

fullsizerender

The Marco Institute offers a Summer Latin program each year to help prepare students who are working toward a Medieval Certificate for the Toronto Level One or Level Two Latin Examination. Incoming graduate students are especially welcome, as these courses will provide an excellent opportunity to get to know UT and the Marco community before the start of fall classes.

In the summer of 2017, the Marco Institute will offer non-credit Latin courses at three levels. The Beginner course is eight weeks in length; the Intermediate and Advanced level courses will run concurrently for six weeks (see details below). Students with previous Latin experience are invited to take both the beginner/review course and one of the readings courses. Students may not take both readings courses.

Please be advised that all of these courses require a substantial amount of preparation (4-5 hours) for each class session; particularly in the beginner class, students should have a minimum of other commitments.

Summer 2017 Schedule:

Unless otherwise noted, classes will meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday each week.
