Jordan Amspacher

Biography

Jordan is a second-year Ph.D. student in history who focuses on western European reactions to the Fourth Crusade and the establishment of the Latin Empire at Constantinople. His research interests include crusading memory, medieval concepts of childhood, and literary representations of "the Other" in western Christendom, especially (but not limited to) high medieval understandings of Islam and the East.
